Official delegation at the opening of the CAN

Next Sunday, all eyes will be on Cameroon, where the African Cup of Nations (CAN) will be held.

This 33rd edition will open on Sunday, January 9 and will run until February 6.

The opening ceremony will take place in the new stadium in Yaoundé with the first game being Cameroon-Burkina Faso.

The Minister of Agriculture and Government Spokesman Houmed Msaidié, the Minister of Equipment Afretane Yssoufa, the Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Takkidine and the former president of the Comorian Football Federation Tourki Salim, are part of the delegation accompanying the Head of State who leaves today (Friday), for the opening of the African Cup of Nations.

As a reminder, the match between the Comoros Coelacanths and Gabon will take place on Monday, January 10 at the Stade Omnisport Ahmadou Ahidjo, Yaoundé.
